| Water distillation line. Cryogenic distillation of water from soil and plant samples can be done on either side of this vacuum system. For large samples we use the right side of the line. Small samples are distilled on the left side. Up to 24 small samples and up to 12 large samples can be distilled in one day. |
| GV Isoprime Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometers. We have two GV stable isotope mass spectrometers capable of analyzing carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen and sulfur isotope ratios. |
| Eurovector. One of the GV isoprimes hooked in tandem with a Eurovector to analyze carbon and nitrogen isotope ratios of organic matter. This system can also be fitted with a chromium pyrolysis system for very accurate hydrogen isotope ratios of water samples. |
| Multiflow. The second GV isoprime is hooked in tandem with a multiflow system capable of analyzing oxygen and hydrogen isotope ratios of water by equilbration. This system can be modified to run breath and atmospheric carbon dioxide samples. . |
